Interventional radiology

Interventional radiology (IR), also known as interventional neuroradiology or endovascular surgical neuroradiology (ESN), is a medical specialty that utilizes minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions using image-guided procedures. Interventional radiologists are medical doctors who have undergone specialized training in radiology and interventional techniques.
